Projects
On this page, you will find basic information about our ongoing and past projects.
Our projects deal with current questions concerning employment and continuous learning. Examples of our project goals include furthering the availability of labour, fighting unemployment and securing the readiness and skills of competent labour to meet the requirements of the labour market in the future.

Our projects
Project for furthering studying alongside work
- The goal of the project is to develop models for combining work and studies, as well as to facilitate the availability of competent labour within branches suffering from labour shortage.
Skills Needs Compass
- The Skills Needs Compass provides information and data on anticipated demands of skills, specifically from the perspective of continuous learning.
The Smooth Learning at Work Material Bank
- Every fifth person of working age suffers from learning difficulties. With the help of this material bank, working places may advance a working culture that takes learning difficulties and the diversity of its employees into consideration.
The Pilot Project for Outreach Services
- In the Pilot Project for Outreach Services, a new service was piloted in organising group guidance encouraging participants to take part in further training in small companies and different areas around Finland.
Reveal Your Skills
- We all have various skills and when we recognise them, we can find uses for them. SECLE organised a campaign week in 2022 and 2023.
Developing prisoners’ basic skills
- We further the development of prisoners’ basic skills, as well as the developing of competence badges used to acknowledge basic skills.
